Expressions I Learned from TOEFL

Before the tour begins, please check that you have all your belongings with you. 

 

1.  You are preparing to welcome visitors to an art gallery, Listen to your supervisor and repeat what she says.

1. Our gallery features a wide range of artworks. (me: Our gallery ... a wide range of .... ) LOL
2. Donated paintings are displayed in the west wing (me: The needed paintings ....) 
3. Modern sculptures and abstract pieces are located upstairs. (me: Complete) 
4. Please no food or drinks are allowed inside the galleries. (me: Please, no food or juice allowed the galleries.)
5. Avoid touching the artwork or leaning on the display cases. (me: Never touch the sculptures or leaning on the glasses) I think this sentence came from what I imagined when I saw the pictures. That's why I use the expression such as 'sculptures' and 'Never touch'.
6. Families are welcome to join our weekend art classes and guided tours. (me: Families are welcome...)
7. The infomation desk, located near the main lobby, can provide further details. (me: The lobby is near by front desk and provide further informations.) LOL....

2. You are being trained to assist customers at a storage unit rental agency. 

1. Welcome, please provide your personal information. (me: right)
2. You can choose your units from these available spaces. (me: right)
3. Storage rental agreements are signed at the front desk. (me: Storage.... at the front desk)
4. Once everything is set, look at the screen for your building access code. (me: Once everything is set, look at the screen...)
5. This is where you return your storage unit keys after the rental period is over. (me: This is where you, ... is over.)
6. Please check your unit for trash or any items left behind, before storing your items. (me: ....) 
7. When moving out, make sure to clean the space so that it is in the same condition as you found it. (me: When moving out, make sure to clean the space...)
